Jeffrey Simmons, Titans defensive tackle, participated in the compulsory mini-camp of the team to conclude the off-season program
and said that he was focusing on football rather than agreement affairs in spite of being qualified for an extension of the contract for the first time. ۔
One of the things that he has in his mind is to "make an effort to be more troublesome" to rivalling offenses so that he can become the "great version" of himself for the team. One way that Jeffery Simmons thinks he can achieve that goal is by playing as a lightweight.
Last season, Jeffery Simmons played at 312-315 pounds, and he has set a different aim for himself this time around.
"Playing in the trenches, all the weight on their joints and things like that takes charge of the body," Jeffery Simmons said on the website of the team. "If I can resume playing at a normal level and weight later this season, I think it will support me from getting injured. I feel great when I am light. I still feel brave. I still think that I am on my own. I think me being regular right around might be 295, or 300, maybe in that range. I think that it will be going well for me, and I can support the team the best way I can by staying all right."
Jeffrey Simmons topped his career with 8.5 sacks last season and had three more, and lost to the Bengals in the playoffs, so he was carrying out at a higher weight. If lesser bulk leads to even further havoc in the pocket, the Titans will be sufficient with the leaner version of their Pro Bowl defensive lineman.
