The complete 2022 MLB All-Star teams have been unveiled.
Major League Baseball announced the entire American League and National League All-Star rosters on Sunday, adding pitchers and reserves to the Man-chosen starting lineups revealed Friday.
The 92nd Summer Classic is on Tuesday, July 19, at Dodger Stadium.
The game's legends are Miguel Cabrera (12th All-Star selection) and Albert Pujols (11th).
Perennial All-Stars like Mike Trout (10th and 9th Fan Choice Starts), Justin Verlander and Clayton Kershaw (9th), José Altuve (8th) and Nolan Arenado, Paul Goldschmidt and Bryce Harper (7th). A lot of new faces.
This year, there are 30 All-Stars for the first time; the fourth straight game MLB has had at least 30 new All-Stars.
28 internationally born All-Stars in 2022
There are also 28 internationally born All-Stars in 2022, 18 on the AL roster and ten on the NL roster. They represent the Dominican Republic (11 All-Stars), Venezuela (eight), Cuba and Puerto Rico (two), and Aruba, Bahamas, Canada, Japan and Mexico (one each). Thirty-nine of the current 66 All-Stars come from various backgrounds, including 25 AL All-Stars, who comprise more than 75% of the team.
