George Kittle
George Kittle, a tight end for San Francisco, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Chicago, but he seems confident about playing.
Kittle claimed on Friday that he had made progress each day since suffering a groin injury on Monday that prevented him from practicing the rest of the week.
Injury report on Friday
Following the release of the injury report on Friday, Kittle told TheAthletic.com that he was "feeling much better than where we were at on Monday, even better than Wednesday, even better than Thursday." "Making significant progress. I'll do everything possible to show up on the field on Sunday. I've played games in the past even though I hadn't practiced all week. I'm hoping that once I get off the aircraft, I'll feel better tomorrow and [Sunday], at which point I'll be able to go out and play.
One of the most crucial members of the 49ers' offense, Kittle's absence would be a setback for quarterback Trey Lance. Kittle, however, seems to believe that his chances of playing are strong.
