The Bears' secondary is getting a little more depth.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Davontae Harris has signed with Chicago.
Harris most recently played five games for Los Angeles in 2021 with the Chargers. He participated in 69 special teams snaps and 73 defensive snaps on the field.
He also made ten special teams snaps in one game for San Francisco in 2021.
Harris, a fifth-round selection by the Bengals in 2018, has since moved about the league a little. Cincinnati released him in 2019 at the 53-player roster cut, and he eventually joined Denver, where he played in all 16 games with six starts.
Baltimore later grabbed him off waivers during the 2020 campaign after he was later released.
After Baltimore released him after last year's training camp, San Francisco took him.
