Belgium added a new victory and defeated Wales 2-1 for matchday 5 of Group D of the UEFA Nations League. Kevin de Bruyne and Micky Batshuayi scored the Belgian team's goals at the King Baudouin Stadium.
The game started evenly, but the balance tipped towards Belgium a little, which hurt the visiting defence. The Welsh wall was broken in the 10th minute after some good collective play ended in a beautiful left-footed goal from Kevin de Bruyne.
After 10 minutes, Belgium came down the right wing through Batshuayi, who gave an accurate cross to De Bruyne, who, without a mark, had no problem scoring a great goal. The ball went far out of goalkeeper Hennessey's reach.
In the following minutes, with Rob Page's men stunned and the Belgian public enjoying their game at the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels, Batshuayi, Yannick Carrasco or again De Bruyne were able to score, who in the 26th minute sent a ball to the post again from the front of the area.
Manchester City midfielder
The second goal, which hovered around Wayne Hennessey's goal, came again thanks to the De Bruyne-Batshuayi duo, but this time with an assist from inside the box by the Manchester City midfielder that the Fenerbahçe striker pushed in, certifying the dominance of the Belgians in a first half where they had 68% possession.
Wales is another face in the complementary.
The Belgian defence, made up of debutant Zeno Debast and veterans Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, was untroubled and continental goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois barely suffered in the first half.
But things changed to rest. Five minutes into the second period, with no changes to either team, Brennan Johnson came down the wing and crossed for Moore, who beat Alderweireld in the air and headed the Belgian goal, putting the Dragons back in at the match.
