When asked about it, Belichick responded that Agholor had made a considerable amount of development in his second year in New England.
An enormous leap. Belichick described it as a significant jump. He spent the whole offseason here and had a fantastic offseason.
He is effective. He trained pretty well throughout the spring.
He came out here and made crucial plays down the field, but he is also excelling in other areas. Hardly any mental mistakes. He appeared to me to look excellent.
Agholor was signed by the Patriots last year in the hopes that he would significantly influence their passing game.
However, in his first season in New England, he only managed to haul in 37 passes for 473 yards and three touchdowns, which wasn't very impressive. Belichick, though, doesn't appear disheartened and commends Agholor for working hard to put up better numbers in his second season with the Patriots.
