Tuesday, the NFL fined club owner Stephen Ross additional fines and took away two draught selections from the Dolphins for recent tampering offenses involving Tom Brady and Sean Payton.
Brady's conversations with Miami started in 2019 while he was a member of the Patriots and lasted until his departure as a free agent from the organization in 2020. When asked about his reaction to the events, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick remained loyal to form despite NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell calling the offenses "unprecedented" in their scale and severity.
I'm concentrating on boot camp. Belichick told several reporters that all of that is the past.
Any louder response would need to come from others who may have feelings about what transpired in Miami because it would have been surprising.
If Belichick had provided any additional information about what the Patriots knew in 2019 or how he might have felt about Brady discussing leaving New England while still under contract.
