Brentford and Crystal
Tuesday's 1-1 tie between Brentford and Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park was salvaged by Yoane Wissa's 89th-minute header.
Wilfried Zaha's
Before the hour mark, Wilfried Zaha's spectacular strike appeared to give Crystal Palace a victory in the London derby. Still, it was undone as Thomas Frank tried everything to score an equalizer.
Eagles blew a 2-0 lead at Manchester
After the Eagles blew a 2-0 lead at Manchester City three days prior, the draw is disappointing for Patrick Vieira because there were some promising moments.

With almost 30 minutes remaining, Zaha scored a beautiful goal from the corner of the 18 that put South Londoners ahead.
With a new record of 1-2-2, Palace now trails Brentford's six points by one point. Since defeating Manchester United 4-0 in Week 2, the Bees are winless.
What we discovered after Brentford vs. Crystal Palace
Brentford faces challenges with quiet Toney: Big star forward for Brentford, wearing the captain's armband, had a bad day. Despite becoming a full-fledged center-forward, Ivan Toney struggled in practically every area of the game and wasn't helped by adding Keane Lewis-Potter to his right. Thomas Frank, the manager of the Bees, attempted to assist Toney by taking Bryan Mbeumo and Lewis-Potter off the field. Still, the additions of Frank Onywka and Joshua Dasilva did little to improve the striker's performance. Yoann Wissa made the 79th move. See more below on that.
Crystal Palace has united,
Crystal Palace has united, but one mistake has cost a lot: Wilfried Zaha only has one year left on his contract. Therefore there have been many rumors about his departure. However, it would be a shame if he departed to play in Europe since Patrick Vieira's team appears capable of challenging for a top-seven spot. Palace appeared to be capable of soaring quite high, from Joachim Andersen at the back to Cheick Doucoure controlling the midfield to a variety of attacking options — Zaha might've been the least-effective attacker aside from his moment of wonder — if not for instances like Wissa's winning goal, which came when the Eagles permitted a back-post overload.
tactical stance
To put it bluntly — pun intended — Cheick Doucoure's command of the Brentford midfield was something for which Thomas Frank lacked an answer. The Eagles' DCM remained calm in the face of constant change, allowing Palace's five attack-minded players to rush into a Kristoffer Ajer-less Brentford back line.
Wissa's numerous excellent late contributions for Brentford and the ability to substitute more than three players this season made all the difference for the Bees. Frank had many potential answers for the various questions Doucoure and Palace were asking.

Aaron Hickey is a Bologna import who possesses the necessary skill and cunning.
Joachim Andersen: Stable force appears to be here to stay.
When Vitaly Janet chose Wissa to score the equalizer, his already good day improved.
Next, what?
On Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, Palace will play at another top-seven contender Newcastle United, while Brentford will host Leeds United.
