Final 2022 golf season
The final main of the 2022 golf season enters its third day as The Open Championship is celebrating its historic 150th tournament in San Andres. The summer surrounds Scotland as The Open returns to the House of Golf for the 1st time since 2015. This 30th time the Old Course week marks has played host to The Open, given the anniversary, location, and tremendously talented field. And strong qualifying, many refer to this event as one of the most prominent majors in history.
Cameron Smith
Cameron Smith edged out Cameron Young for the top spot on the leaderboard, but Rory McIlroy pushed hard the back nine to move three shots behind Smith and one shot behind Young entering Moving Day. Dustin Johnson and Scottie Scheffler are among the other stars who jumped up the leaderboard on the initial wave, setting up what should be a fun weekend.
Tiger Woods week did not go well. Tiger got excited walking down the 18th fairway, knowing he would miss the cut at The Open for the 2nd time in a row overall (2019) and the second time in a row in as many appearances at St. Andrews (2015).
Open Championship
While the Open Championship can be fun and, this year particularly, memorable, just being able to watch golf at one of the game's most outstanding venues in St. Andrews is an incredible pleasure.
Enough talking about it. This is how you can watch as much of The Open as possible over the weekend. Don't forget to check out the Round 3 Matchups and Tee Times so you know when your favorites will take on St. Andrews, and watch live Open Leaderboard coverage throughout the day from the move.
