Charles Lee was a finisher for the Wizards
training situation. This season, he was evaluated for the Laker’s work and is
considered for the Jazz training position.
The Milwaukee Bucks had previously lost one strong right
hand when Darvin Ham accepted the Lakers' position, so the Bucks gave Lee an
advancement to keep him around (and somebody expected to fill that job). Jokes
Charania of The Athletic, let it be known.
Lee has spent eight seasons on the seat with Mike Budenholzer, first in Atlanta and presently in Milwaukee. Before that, Lee
played in school at Bucknell and afterwards expertly abroad.
It won't be a sensational offseason in Milwaukee. They need
to settle up to hold Bobby Portis, and Pat Connaughton probably declines his
player choice to turn into a free specialist (the Bucks can re-sign him, as
well). In any case, the centre of this title group — Giannis Antetokounmpo,
Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday — are under agreement and will be back.
Congruity matters, and keeping Lee on the training staff
helps that in Milwaukee.
