Chris Godwin, a wide receiver with the Buccaneers, is back in action.
Godwin was reportedly in uniform and practicing with the club for the first time since tearing his ACL late last season, according to reports from Friday's practice in Tampa. Godwin is exercising while sporting a brace on his right knee.
Godwin's absence from the physically unable to perform list at the start of camp was interpreted by the team as a hint that he was not too far away from returning to the fold.
Godwin is on pace to play in the season opener against the Cowboys on the first Sunday night of the regular season if all goes according to plan with his comeback.
