A seasoned wide receiver has been added by the Buccaneers
The Buccaneers will sign Cole Beasley, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Beasley will join the Buccaneers' practice squad at first, but he will shortly be promoted to the main roster.
The decision to sign Beasley
The decision to sign Beasley was reportedly influenced by Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who had been urging the team to sign another experienced wide receiver.
Beasley caught 82 catches for 693 yards and one score while playing for the Bills last season. He now joins a receiving group for the Buccaneers that is strong when all of its members are available but is missing Mike Evans because of a one-game suspension and Julio Jones because of a knee injury.
