The novel between Deebo Samuel and San Francisco does not seem to end, and this week, there is new news from both.
According to reports, Samuel would be reporting to a 49ers minicamp this week after refusing to continue with the franchise.
Ian Rapoport, an insider of the NFL, confirmed this news after Samuel decided not to attend the OTA in the previous weeks.
After requesting his departure from the franchise, Deebo remains active on the 49ers roster heading into next season.
If an agreement is not reached, John Lynch would be satisfied that his receiver stays with the team since he considers his key to what they want.
The fact that Deebo Samuel attends this minicamp does not ensure that the wide receiver is happy with the idea of continuing with the Bay.
After his rookie contract, he was looking for something juicier for his career, but he still hasn't reached an agreement, and that's why he wants to go to a team that meets his expectations.
The 49ers will also have Nick Bosa in minicamp. Ian Rapoport also announced that this player would be featured this week.
Bosa, like Deebo Samuel, decided not to attend the OTAs earlier this month but would show up for the minicamps.
Bosa, unlike Samuel, does have a contract and does not intend to leave the 49ers to look for better pretensions in another team.
The defensive end posted on social media his joy at re-equipping himself.
The good news is still on the way. I love it; he posted it on his Twitter account.
