The
first day of the Seahawks minicamp was held on Tuesday, which was not attended
by a broad receiver DK Metcalf and it seems that to miss the session will open the
door for a penalty from the team.
As per
several reports, DK Metcalf's non-appearance is unforgivable. If all three days of
minicamp are skipped by him, he could be fined an increased amount that would
reach more than $93,000.
Head
coach of Seahawks, Pete Carroll, refused to talk with the media to assure the
nature of DK Metcalf's non-appearance or if the team intends to issue such fines.
DK
Metcalf would not be on the ground if he were at the team's facility on Tuesday
because he had foot surgery earlier this season. He did volunteering work in the
off-season program, and at this spot, any decision to waste time is likely to
be linked to his will to extend his contract for the fourth NFL season.
Both DK Metcalf and the Seahawks have expressed hope about receiving such a deal, but
Metcalf's non-appearance could indicate that the outlook for the end has turned
pink.
