Zane Gonzalez
Zane Gonzalez, the Panthers' kicker, will never want to see the Bills again.
Gonzalez suffered a freak injury
Last season, Gonzalez suffered a freak injury to his quadriceps during pregame warmups against the Bills and suffered another one on Friday against Buffalo. Gonzalez was kicking into the goal post from the sidelines in the second half when he collapsed to the ground.
According to The Panthers, Gonzalez had a right groin injury.
He was carried to the training room because he could not bear any weight on his leg.
The Panthers scored their third touchdown
With 7 minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Panthers scored their third touchdown, and punter Johnny Hekker converted the PAT.
Gonazlez's injury forced receiver Brandon Zylstra to kickoff during a game against Buffalo on December 19, as the Panthers went for more fourth downs and two-point conversions. Gonzalez remained on injured reserve for the whole season
