SAN FRANCISCO — Andre Iguodala, who played 12 minutes off
the seat for the Warriors in Game 1, is out for Game 2 because of knee
touchiness, the group declared.
"His knee puffed up on him yesterday evening; thus
definitely, he'll be out this evening and every day," Warriors mentor
Steve Kerr said.
That opens up a spot in the revolution that Gary Payton II, who again is cleared to play in Game 2 could fill. Payton was removed
for Game 1. However, they didn't see the court.
"I felt uncomfortable in Game 1 playing him since it
didn't create the impression that he was sufficiently solid to play… "Kerr
said." Yet, it's in a real sense been something every day, and he's made a
few improvements the most recent few days, and I expect to get him out there
this evening."
The Celtics declared Robert Williams III is accessible for
Game 2. That isn't a shock, he began and played 24 minutes in Game 1, yet with
his knee issues following a medical procedure, he is recorded as problematic
for each game.
