Buccaneers stocked up at wide this year
If their receivers suffer injuries like they did the previous season, the Buccaneers stocked up at wide this year. Five Buccaneers receivers are hurt after just one regular-season game, just days before a showdown in New Orleans against the Saints.
Jaelon Darden and Scotty Miller
Chris Godwin, Julio Jones, and Russell Gage (hamstring) were the three who did not participate in any practice (knee). Mike Evans (calf) and Breshad Perriman both had limitations (knee).
Jaelon Darden and Scotty Miller are the only remaining fully healthy receivers on the Bucs' roster.
Cornerback Zyon McCollum and tackle Donovan Smith (elbow) were both absent from practice (hamstring). To rest, quarterback Tom Brady received the day off.
Additionally limited was running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and tackle Tristan Wirfs (abdomen).
