Aaron Donald has conquered what he has set out to do. Three Defensive Player of the Year titles, eight Pro Bowls, seven All-Pros, an All-Decade recognition, 98 career sacks, and now a Super Bowl ring are among his accomplishments.
Donald is only 31 years old, yet he says he'll be pleased if he retires following eight seasons without participating in another down.
Donald stated four times on Brandon Marshall's Athlete talk show that he feels "at ease" with his job.
Donald isn't taking part in the team's voluntary organized group activities as he looks for a new contract after outperforming his six-year, $125 million contract inked in 2018.
In any case, I don't want to play football if I can't win anyway, so if I could win another Super Bowl, then I would. We've got to handle the business side of things, and if that w "I've indicated since the beginning of the league that I aim to compete for eight years and then depart. Isn't to get handled then, you know, it is the type of situation. I'll be fine regardless." Winning a Super Bowl, on the other hand, can be addictive. ". That's exactly what I've been saying all along. It just got out, and everyone assumed, "Oh, he said he'll retire if he won a Super Bowl." Nah, my teammates, coaches, and family are all aware of the situation. I stated that I intend to play for eight years and will most likely retire from football. I'm not going to lie to you. I want to experience that sensation once more. If I'm honest, I'm not sure. If I were to play, it would be for the sole purpose of winning a Super Bowl. However, it is indeed a company. And it has to construct meaning to see my family and me."
Donald will earn $14.25 million in 2022, which rates him 102nd in the NFL. With a net worth of $22.5 million, he is ranked 27th.
Donald admits that our teams will "probably" figure it out, but he insists he won't be disappointed if they don't." Donald remarked.
"Donald said." "I was fortunate to be able to do it, to earn the money I did, and to achieve the goals I did in eight years. I feel like I'm finished." It would be fantastic if I could win another one. But even if that's not the case, I'm content." Before Super Bowl LVI, Donald stated to commentator Rodney Harrison that if the Rams won, he might consider retirement. If Donald doesn't somehow sign a new contract, he is expected to retire, as well as the Rams will do everything possible to urge him to stay.
Even so, money speaks.
