Jake Paul
Jake Paul has claimed lousy blood between him and his new opponent Hasim Rahman Jr.
Paul and Rahman have clashed before in the build-up to the former's first professional fights with fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib and basketball star Nate Robinson.
Problem Child
The Problem Child' shared that their training sessions a couple of years ago were "very, very heated," with their last meeting ending in a verbal dispute. He told FightHype.com in an interview:
He added that he had difficulty facing Rahman in their sparring sessions. But the YouTuber-turned-boxer believes he has grown and improved as a fighter enough to beat Rahman inside the ring. He went on to say.
Madison Square Garden
The two will square off on August 6 at Madison Square Garden. Paul was initially scheduled to fight Tommy Fury, but the fight was canceled after the Brit faced visa issues and was not allowed to enter the US.
Rahman is arguably a more formidable opponent for Paul than Fury, with a record of 12-1 with six knockouts. He fights in the heavyweight division and will have to drop down to the 200-pound cruiserweight limit to face Paul.
