The Giants
The Giants revealed on Tuesday that they had added a former Cowboy to their practice squad ahead of their Week Three matchup with the Cowboys on Monday night.
Jaylon Smith, a linebacker, has joined the group. Smith is making a comeback after being released by the Cowboys last year. He played four games and made two starts for the Giants.
As a second-round draught pick in 2016, Smith missed his entire rookie season while healing from a serious knee injury he sustained in his final game at Notre Dame. After the 2019 season, he made the Pro Bowl and participated in every game for the Cowboys during the following four seasons. However, he was taken out of the lineup early last season and went on to the Packers before his initial stint with the Giants.
