Packers selected Cornell's Tretter
Tretter declared his retirement from the NFL in a letter published on Twitter on Thursday. Tretter stated that he is happy with his career in the NFL and achieved his objective of retiring on his terms.
The Packers selected Cornell's Tretter in the fourth round of the 2013 selection, and he started 10 of the team's 31 games. He joined the Browns before the 2017 campaign began, and throughout the following five seasons, he started every one of Cleveland's 80 games.
NFL Players
Tretter became active in the NFL Players Association and was chosen as its president in 2020, in addition to his activities on the field. He said on Thursday that he is looking forward to "doubling down" on his union work now that his playing days are finished. He was voted to another term in 2022.
