Denzel Mims
Denzel Mims of the Jets wants to be traded to a team where he has a greater chance of seeing the field, and there may be some interest in doing so for the 2020 second-round pick.
Joe Douglas
Joe Douglas, the general manager of the Jets, stated that the organization has gotten "a couple calls" regarding trading for Mims while a guest on WFAN on Friday afternoon.
At Baylor
Although Douglas did not name the groups, a report from earlier in the day claimed the Panthers were one of the organizations expressing interest. At Baylor, Mims competed under Panthers head coach Matt Rhule.
Robert Saleh
Robert Saleh, the head coach of the Jets, had earlier in the day stated that he wasn't prepared to declare that Mims' departure was final, and Douglas didn't offer any assurances either. He did mention that the team was "blessed" to have several great wideouts and that they would handle Mims' request in the organization's best interests.
