Cornerback Joe Haden played for both the Steelers and the Browns
During his time in the NFL, cornerback Joe Haden played for both the Steelers and the Browns, and the day before their matchup, he made a statement.
On Wednesday, Haden made his retirement official. According to his agent Drew Rosenhaus, he will sign a one-day deal with the Browns, and it will be fulfilled later in the campaign.
Haden was a Browns first-round choice in 2010, and in his seven years with the organization, he appeared in two Pro Bowls. After being cut before the 2017 campaign, he soon signed with the Steelers. Haden played for Pittsburgh for five years and was selected to play in another Pro Bowl during that time, but he hasn't been contracted since the end of the 2021 season.
Haden played 158 games and had 148 starts during his career. He had 615 tackles, had 29 interceptions, caused 7 fumbles, recovered 6 fumbles, and had 3 sacks.
