According to Tony Jones at The Athletic, Utah is seeking offers for the other seasoned players on its roster, Bojan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley, Malik Beasley, and Jordan Crawford.
Sources claim that the Jazz is also negotiating trades for other pieces, including the experienced guard's Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, and Bojan Bogdanovic.
It is well known that the Jazz will demand a first-round draught selection in exchange (they may need to pack a couple of players to get one pick).
According to reports from Mike Singer of the Denver Post and Jeff Zillget of USA Today, Bogdanovic and maybe other players have been linked to the Lakers and reports.
If the Lakers are interested in trading for Russell Westbrook, Utah continues to be the most likely destination, but it would be expensive. But the Jazz will demand both, whereas the Lakers would be ready to accept one of their available first-round picks (2027 or 2029) in exchange for Westbrook. The Lakers are also vying for their cap space for the upcoming season, which may be about $30 million, as Zillget stated (not max contract money, but enough to bring in quality role players).
Los Angeles won't be the only team interested in signing him, and other organizations might be better able to match their pay.
Look for the Jazz to deal with its veterans before or during training camp in one manner or another.
Lauri Markkanen, who was recently purchased, will be included in that.
