The Pro Bowl safety Micah Hyde will miss the remainder of the season due to a neck injury, according to a statement made earlier in the day by Hyde's agency.
The Bills placed Hyde on injured reserve on Saturday afternoon
Hyde was struck in the head and neck area late in the third quarter and was sent to the hospital for observation Monday night. He had tests and was examined before being released later that evening.
Emili were added by the Bills from the practice
Defensive tackles Brandin Bryant and Prince Emili were added by the Bills from the practice squad to the active roster.
For Sunday's game against the Dolphins, the team also promoted centres Greg Mancz and Ja'Marcus Ingram from the practice squad. They had the typical altitudes.
