Michael Hooper demands Australia involve their grim go against England as fuel for Saturday's series opener in Perth.
Since becoming red rose's lead trainer toward the finish of 2015, Eddie Jones has planned eight progressive triumphs against the Wallabies, who he instructed from 2001 to 2005.
Only one of those has come against Australia's ongoing manager Dave Rennie. Even though England enters the series as longshots, Hooper expects the matches to go down to the last second.
"It's an inspiration to win and turn the record. We have three games at home to make it happen. It's been a while since we've played these fellas, so we're excited about it," the commander said.
"History hasn't been in that frame of mind for a long while now against the English, and we're quick to tear in.
"This is the top contention. Having the Ashes at the back finish of last year and this year, the entire Australian populace gets behind the group whether they're here or in England.
"It's tied in with gloating privileges, so it's huge for the fans and us. There's some extraordinary history between the two groups.
"They're generally an intense outfit. They've picked a strong group with some genuine expertise and experience. We're anticipating a difficult stretch.
"We have to get several successes added to our repertoire. In rounds of these extents, it will return and forward, and we want to remain in the battle, toss and retain punches, get back on the front foot and assault these folks."
We have our hands-on passes to the impending eToro Series as the Wallabies take England on their lawn.
