Los Angeles three-and-out
In their season-opening game against the Bills on Thursday, the Rams scored ten straight points to finish the first half.
Buffalo, however, appears to be a squad that recovered on offense and defense at halftime. Buffalo used another effective drive to grab a 17-10 lead after forcing a Los Angeles three-and-out.
Brandon Powell, a Rams returner, could only get as far as the 11-yard line on the first kickoff of the second half. Additionally, Buffalo's defensive end Greg Rousseau had time to bring down quarterback Matthew Stafford for the team's fourth sack after Stafford dropped a poor snap on third-and-4 at the Los Angeles 17.
42-yard line
The Bills' starting position after the punt was their 42-yard line. On its eight-play possession, the team only faced one third down, which quarterback Josh Allen erased with a decisive 8-yard run, stiff-arming safety Nick Scott in the process.
Isaiah McKenzie grabbed
On first-and-goal, receiver Isaiah McKenzie grabbed a similar route for a 7-yard touchdown after dropping a throw that resulted in an interception in the first half.
The 58-yard drive, which took 5:03 to complete, was finished by McKenzie's first touchdown of the year.
