NFL Players Association has selected Cody Davis
Patriots' defence The NFL Players Association has selected Cody Davis as its community MVP for this week.
Davis is being honoured for his work with Boston Children's Hospital on the "Cody's Gamers" programme. Davis gave a Nintendo Switch to the hospital so that the patients could use it, and he frequently uses Zoom to connect with kids to play games and have talks. Then Davis sends a gift basket including the items that each child mentioned they loved during the phone call.
In a statement, Davis stated, "I'm truly delighted and humbled to be voted the Week 3 NFLPA Community MVP." "I make an effort to use the abilities and platform God has given me to serve and show love to others. I want to show that, regardless of your position or platform, you can make a difference.
The NFLPA will give Davis' foundation or another charity of his choice $10,000. He will be eligible for the Alan Page Community Award at the end of the year along with the other weekly winners.
