Paul and Fury
Paul and Fury announced they signed up to box each other at an upcoming August 6 event at New York's Madison Square Garden, promoted by Paul's Most Valuable Promotions and Showtime boxing.
Paul and Fury were initially scheduled to fight.
The confirmation comes a day after Paul gave Fury a request, giving his rival 24 hours to agree to his terms and sign on the dotted line or "I'll never give you this chance again. Fury pulled out due to injury and illness.
Fury quickly responded to Wednesday's challenge when he agreed to the August 6 date on social media.
Amanda Serrano
Paul's post also announced that Amanda Serrano (42-2-1, 30 KOs) would face Argentine veteran Brenda Carabajal (18-5-1, 9 KOs) in the co-main event of that card.
Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren
Paul, a star and social media phenomenon, is 5-0 as a professional boxer with wins over former MMA champions Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren. In his most recent outing last December, Paul defeated Woodley by sixth-round knockout.
Daniel Bocianski
Fury is also unbeaten as a pro with a flawless 8-0 record. The Love Island star is coming off a decision win over Daniel Bocianski, a fight at Wembley Stadium in London last April. He is the younger half-brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
