Mitch Trubisky
In Sunday's game against the Lions, Mitch Trubisky will start at quarterback for the Steelers and be joined in the backfield by his best running back.

During training camp, running back Najee Harris wanted to participate in a preseason game. On Friday, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin revealed that the running back would get his dream. In the home game on Sunday, Harris will make his preseason debut.
Harris won't be playing for a long time, though Tomlin didn't specify how long he intended to keep Harris in the game.
The team will probably not want to take a chance on further difficulties with Harris, who was battling a foot injury earlier this month but was able to practice last week. Additionally, Harris' desired level of effort is a more general query. Although he led the league in touches last season and has stated that he would be prepared to carry the ball 500 times if it meant the greatest outcome for the Steelers, there isn't much point in increasing that figure during the preseason.
