Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers said at the start of the mandatory minicamp in June that his plan is Retirement with the Green Bay Packers. The two-time NFL MVP provided more clarity.
This is off-season in stark contrast to last year when Rodgers skipped OTAs over front-office issues before finally committing to the 2021 season. He signed a four-year, $200 million extension in March, including $153 million in guaranteed money and two years irrevocable on the back end.
Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers prepared before Rodgers said in June that the deal was structured to help set a salary cap for the team but added that talks about his future were undoubtedly imminent.
Tommy Brady
I understand how the deal is laid out: It feels like one year plus two plus one, so there will surely be resolutions after this year.
Rodgers previously said He thinks a lot about retirement.
"That is the joy. The other things you wear make you think about life after football. Tommy [Brady] set very high standards by playing for many years, but I can see the end coming."
