Patrick Reed is the most recent player to join LIV Golf.
The LIV Golf Invitational Series has received an official commitment from the 2018 Masters champion and nine-time PGA Tour winner. The world No. 36, Reed becomes the Saudi-backed circuit's ninth major winner.
The Centurion Club in London hosted LIV Golf's maiden event this week. Its next tournament will be held at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Portland, Oregon, from June 30 to July 2.
Reed will compete in the series-opening event alongside Bryson DeChambeau, who revealed his signing with LIV Golf on Friday.
For his heroics in previous Ryder and Presidents Cups, Reed, 31, is regarded as "Captain America." However, Reed's decision to join LIV Golf could jeopardise his participation in future Ryder and Presidents Cups.
On Saturday, however, Reed wasn't the only one who joined LIV Golf. Pat Perez, a three-time Tour winner, will also compete in the Saudi-sponsored event.
