The top-tier IMSA prototypes will compete in their final sprint race on Sunday in the only non-endurance event where all five WeatherTech SportsCar Championship classes will be represented.
For DPi, LMP2, and LMP3, Road America will serve as the season's last sprint race. The Acuras of Meyer Shank Racing and Wayne Taylor Racing are engaged in a competition for the premier division title with two races remaining (the Petit Le Mans season finale will take place on October 1).
The No. 60 Acura ARX-05 of Tom Blomqvist and Oliver Jarvis lead the No. 10 of Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor by 56 points.
Sebastien Bourdais's No. 01 Cadillac from Chip Ganassi Racing and Renger van der Zande, who has won twice in the last three races, is third in the DPi standings.
