J.J. Watt and wide receiver Rondale Moore
The Cardinals' season opener was played without defensive end J.J. Watt and wide receiver Rondale Moore, and neither player's situation appeared to have changed much heading into the practice week.
In Arizona, Watt and Moore both continued to skip workouts. During one of last week's sessions, Moore hurt his hamstring while Watt struggled with a calf ailment.
However, the lack of improvement isn't encouraging their chances of playing against the Raiders. Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury stated at his press conference that the team wouldn't have a clear idea about either player's availability until later in the week.
Close end Although he participated in the first game, Zach Ertz (calf) missed practice along with safety Jalen Thompson and wide receiver Andy Isabella (back) (toe). Both center Rodney Hudson and right tackle Kelvin Beachum received the day off.
Cornerback, The participation of left guard Justin Pugh (neck) and Trayvon Mullen (toe) was restricted.
