Local Richter scale
Even though it didn't register on the local Richter scale, it was loud.
An ill-advised kick return from the end zone handed Denver the ball at its own 11 after the Seahawks grabbed a first-drive, 7-0 lead against the Broncos, which sparked a loud cry of GENO! GENO! GENO! for quarterback Geno Smith. Former Seattle starter Russell Wilson then strode onto the field.
The home crowd harshly booed Wilson. And seemingly in unison.
Five throws for 58 yards
Wilson's pass flew off Andrew Beck's hands and into the left flat. But when Wilson connected with Beck for a 25-yard gain, Denver finished the drive with a field goal.
On his debut drive as a Seahawk, Wilson completed three of his five throws for 58 yards.
