31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night
Despite the Rams' 31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night, head coach Sean McVay wasn't disheartened by the performance.
McVay frequently stated that he holds himself accountable for his team's lack of preparation and that he is confident the Rams will do much better in Week Two against the Falcons.
This isn't our first setback, according to McVay. "We're going to react appropriately. I do believe that. All I know to do is watch this tape, make the necessary corrections, organize a productive week of practice, and prepare to face the Falcons the following week. It is the only way to say that they didn't do a good enough job. We can perform better overall in many areas if it starts with me.
McVay said that playing against the Bills would be a difficult challenge.
McVay predicted the squad would play football "very, really well." "This evening was humbling. . . . However, having the chance to react is what I enjoy most about sports.
