Concentrate on the strategy
Darren Waller will be in the starting lineup on Sunday despite neither a hamstring strain nor contract negotiations. On Tuesday, the Raiders tight end declared that he is prepared to face the Chargers.
Man, concentrate on Sunday. Concentrate on the strategy. Waller stated, as quoted by Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal: "Focus on what they ask me to do.
Between July 30 and August 17, Waller only participated in two practices; following a day off, he returned to rehab, where he remained until August 31. Since then, he has trained every day.
Football is difficult
Some people questioned whether he was withholding information to gain leverage in contract negotiations, but Waller insisted that the hamstring ailment was legitimate.
Waller said, "You simply can't seem to get a break sometimes. Football is difficult. It puts a lot of strain on your body. Although I regret missing out on the opportunity to be outside, isn't it time for me to check that my body is functioning properly? Make sure I'm at ease in my mind so I can attack the season right away.
Waller, who will receive $7 million in salary this year, switched agencies in the summer. He stated on Tuesday that he is unsure if that will contribute to the parties agreeing or not.
Waller declared, "I'll be playing football whether it goes one way or not.
