Linebacker T.J
The decision to place linebacker T.J. Watt on injured reserve will likely be made soon, according to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, who earlier this week stated that the team would do so when the time was right.
According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Steelers will likely put Watt on injured reserve before this Sunday's game against the Patriots. Yates adds that the linebacker David Anenih from the Titans' practise squad will also be signed.
Watt is not having surgery to fix his torn pec, and after recovering from the injury, he is anticipated to be able to play again in approximately six weeks. He wouldn't be able to participate in the following four games if he went on injured reserve.
Anenih, a Houston native who went undrafted this year, signed with the Titans. He recorded seven tackles, three sacks, and two forced fumbles in three preseason games.
