The claims against Bills punter Matt Araiza are terrible, and as of right now, they are just that—allegations. However, since the alleged event occurred before the Bills selected Araiza, the NFL is powerless to help.

In an email to PFT, the league stated, "We are aware of the situation but would refuse additional comment at this time.
Joining the NFL
The Personal Conduct Policy does not cover alleged misbehavior that allegedly occurs before a player is selected. If he breaks the rule after joining the NFL, the incident would at most be used against him for enhanced or expired punishment.
However, if Bill chooses, they are still free to cut him. Although Araiza and/or the NFLPA might object to the Bills getting rid of Araiza for reasons unrelated to his ability, they are free to make their own decisions. They may determine that it would be better to locate a new punter.
The NFL season opener is against the Rams
Especially since the Bills' 2022 NFL season opener is against the Rams in Los Angeles two weeks from tonight. Additionally, the Bills' use of the punter position will probably not be very significant this season.
