Super Bowl champions
The defending Super Bowl champions received encouraging news from the Rams' first injury report. There was only one player named on it.
Due to a knee ailment, receiver Van Jefferson was unable to practice.
After having surgery on the same knee earlier in the offseason, Jefferson underwent "minor" surgery on August 2.
Matthew Stafford
After collecting 19 receptions for 220 yards and one score as a rookie in 2020, he grabbed 50 passes for 802 yards and six touchdowns in his most recent season.
While quarterback Matthew Stafford, running backs Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson Jr., cornerback Jalen Ramsey, and Jefferson appear to be drifting away from not playing in Thursday's regular-season start. After missing time in camp, everyone is healthy and prepared to play.
