Coach Pete Carroll
Coach Pete Carroll described the knee injury sustained by Seahawks safety Jamal Adams on Monday night as "severe." Carroll isn't saying anything at all on Wednesday.
Carroll responded when asked how Adams was doing, "He got hurt."
Will his allegedly "severe" injury result in him being placed on injured reserve?
Carroll stated, "At this time, I'm not sure how that's going to proceed.
Adams has a "quadriceps tendon injury," he continued, adding, "something that I don't know much about yet."
Carroll had stated that Adams' knee would require some attention. Will that require surgery?
According to Carroll, he is currently gathering all the information he can to ensure that he is aware of our team's plans and those of other parties. He will take his time to do it correctly and become extremely clear on the next step because we have the time to do it.
Carroll clarified Adams's annoyance with the circumstance
Carroll expressed how much it meant to the man. The frustration of having to deal with being unwell suddenly hit him again. He wants to be out here so badly that he wonders and asks. He wants to be with the men and do what we can in every way.
Carroll didn't tell us anything, so it's difficult to say whether Seahawks supporters should be optimistic. Time will tell whether Adams will return, and sooner rather than later.
