Tiger Woods' return to golf may change your mind if you can see his right leg's harm in the single-vehicle accident in February 2021.
Woods has impressed in his return to major championship golf, cutting each of his appearances at the Masters and PGA Championship despite showing indications of exhaustion and discomfort.
In conjunction with the U.S. Open, The Country Club will host the event at Brookline, but Woods decided to rest his leg at home before The Open at St. Andrews the following month.
The 46-year-old allegedly spent Father's Day weekend watching his son Charlie play in a game rather than hitting the course.
On occasion, Woods was shown with a young player. He is shown in the photo sporting a pair of black golf shorts without the leg sleeve he has been infamous for since the accident.
One thing is evident in the image: Woods' wounded right leg, which was once in danger of being amputated, is different from his left leg.
His emergency operation to heal his leg and ankle left behind noticeable scarring. Additionally, the lower leg's lower leg appears to protrude out unnaturally, and the inner calf seems concave.
The only indication of help is what seems to be a wrap supporting his ankle.
The new look highlights the 15-time major champion's accomplishments at Augusta National and Southern Hills and raises the question, "If he can cut just 14 months after such a serious injury, when will he be winning again?"
