Defending champion and top-ranked Daniil Medvedev was unbothered by frustrating rain delays at the National Bank Open.
It is one of the advantages of his superior ranking in men's singles. Medvedev received a bye in the first round as the top seed and probably won't play his first match until Wednesday.
