Van Jefferson
Van Jefferson, a wide receiver with the Rams, has not participated in practice since undergoing knee surgery in early August, making it at best uncertain whether he will play in Thursday's season opener against the Bills.

Jefferson underwent more knee surgery earlier in the offseason, but head coach Sean McVay indicated on Friday that the wideout is "making good progress" toward a comeback. Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reported this. When asked if Jefferson would play in Week 1, McVay added that the club would be "taking it a day at a time."
On Monday, the Rams will release their first practice report of the year, and on Wednesday, they will announce any injury designations for the game.
The Rams' other wide receivers on the roster include Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, Tutu Atwell, Ben Skowronek, Brandon Powell, and Lance McCutcheon.
