Kicker Justin Tucker responded to Ravens coach John Harbaugh's playful pressure at practice on Friday by nailing a crucial field goal.
Tucker was instructed that if he made a 46-yard field goal, the practice would conclude right away with roughly 40 minutes remaining in the Ravens' planned session on a humid day with worn-out colleagues surrounding him. Tucker would continue practicing if he missed.
After making the field goal, Tucker was surrounded by jubilant teammates.
Harbaugh doesn't need to check to see if Tucker can make a kick because he is the best kicker in NFL history.
On a hot August day, nothing says "pressure" like having your teammates rely on you to get them off the practice field, but Harbaugh wanted to give Tucker some practice kicking in a high-pressure environment. Tucker got it right.
