The four-star recruit linebacker CJ Allen (Barnesville, GA/ Lamar County H.S.) has accepted his invitation to the 2023 All-American Bowl.
Having been picked to play in the twenty-third edition of the All-American Bowl, Allen will play in the annual East vs West battle on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. E.T. and feature the country's top 100 high school football players.
The All-American Bowl Selection Committee chose Allen, including the All-American Bowl, 247Sports, and NexGen founder Brent Williams. The All-American Bowl Player of the Year Award, the Anthony Muoz Lineman of the Year Award, the Defensive Player of the Year Award, the All-American Bowl Man of the Year Award, and the All-American Bowl MVP Award are all available to All-Americans.
Only 100 football players are selected yearly to wear the All-American Bowl jersey. Each athlete picked will play in the All-American Bowl to cap off their high school careers.
