In the last days, it had become clear that Matthew Tkachuk's time in Calgary had ended. That became official Friday night when the talented young winger was traded to the Florida Panthers along with a conditional 2025 pick for forwarding Jonathan Huberdeau, defenseman MacKenzie Weegar, prospect Cole Schwindt and a 2025 first-round pick.
It's a pretty impressive trade all the way around.
