The Tampa Bay Bandits defeated the Houston Gamblers 13-3 to maintain their playoff aspirations.

After a lacklustre showing, Tampa Bay led 13-0 at intermission and only allowed the Gamblers to accomplish one field goal the rest of the way. In last week's 20-13 loss to New Jersey, QB Jordan converted 12 of 21 passes over 98 yards, including the game's only touchdown throw to Derrick Dillon.
